Fellow Skater Needs Our Help
Hello everyone. While most of you are out enjoying your Mother's Day festivities, skater Adam Bateham is trying to raise enough money to bury his foster Mother who died last week. She was an incredible woman who has taken in many disabled kids, including Adam, and gave them a life.
Time is running out and Adam, who is wheelchair-bound except while skating, is at the mercy of the funeral home. I have contacted the funeral home and begged them to carry a loan so that Adam and his foster brothers and sisters can relax have a nice funeral for their Mother. I am counting on the skate community to come together for Adam and help keep my promise that skaters will come through for him.
Adam has competed in the Damn AM and Tampa AM. Below are some pics of Adam skating. Also attached is a memorial tribute Adam wrote about his Mother. If you can send a check, or wire some money as soon as possible, may it come back to you thricefold. Let's show a fellow skater we care.
